Lux Pro Services — Frequently Asked Questions

Answers to the most common questions about booking, pricing, preparation, and what’s included for each service we offer. If you don’t see your question, call (678) 381-8986 or email [email protected].

General

  • Where does Lux Pro offer services?

We currently serve Metro Atlanta, New York, and parts of Colorado. If you’re nearby and not sure, send your address in the work request—if we can’t help directly, we’ll try to point you in the right direction.

  • How do I book?

Use our online booking/work-request forms (powered by CustomerBase) on each service page. For moving and junk removal, attach photos and notes so we can quote accurately. You’ll receive confirmations and updates by email/SMS.

  • Will I get the same pro each time?

We’ll do our best to honor preferences when availability allows. All Lux Pro teams and partners are vetted and trained to deliver consistent quality.

  • Should I tip?

Tips are appreciated but never required. You can tip in cash on-site or ask us to add a tip to your invoice after the job.

Pricing & Payment

  • How do you price jobs?

    Pricing varies by service:

    • Moving: choose a 3-hr / 4-hr / 6-hr window; mileage for transport is billed at $3/mile.
    • TV Mounting: by TV size tier, mount type (fixed/tilt/full-motion), wall material, and add-ons (e.g., wire concealment).
    • Junk Removal: based on volume/weight, access, and any listed extras (paint, tires, mattresses). Photos help us estimate.
    • Cleaning, Handyman, Landscaping: scope and time required; add-ons are priced separately.

You’ll see a clear price or get a firm quote before you confirm.

  • How do I pay?

Securely online via the Lux Pro platform. For your protection, please don’t pay providers directly. Invoices and receipts are emailed automatically.

  • Do you take deposits?

Some services require a small deposit to hold the date (especially weekends/peak times). If applicable, you’ll see it clearly during booking.

  • Can I reschedule or cancel?

Yes—you can manage changes online. Please reschedule or cancel at least 24 hours in advance.

Home Cleaning

  • What’s included in a standard cleaning?

Bedrooms, living areas, kitchen, and bathrooms: dusting, wiping surfaces, floors (vacuum/mop), trash removal, and basic tidying.

Add-ons (book in advance): inside oven/fridge, baseboards, windows (interior), blinds, and more.

  • Do you bring supplies?

Yes. If you prefer eco or specialty products, note that in your booking and leave them out on the counter.

  • Do I need to be home?

Not required—just let us know how to access and where to leave the key when finished. We’ll text upon arrival/finish.

Residential Moving

  • How do your time blocks work (3-hr / 4-hr / 6-hr)?

Choose the block that fits your home size and list of items. If the job finishes early—great. If more time is needed and the crew is available, you can request additional time at the same hourly rate.

  • Do you offer labor-only moves and moves with a truck?

Yes. Book labor-only if you have your own truck/POD. If you need a truck, include both addresses, distance, and any parking constraints. Transport mileage is billed at $3/mile.

  • Are there extra fees for stairs or elevators?

No extra stair fees for moving—our pricing is time-based. Please still list flights, elevator reservations, and long carries so we staff correctly.

  • Can you help with packing?

Yes—Packing Helpers are available (additional cost). Tell us rooms, fragility level, and whether you’ll provide boxes, paper, and tape.

  • What can’t you move?

Hazardous materials (propane/fuels/solvents), firearms/ammo, live animals, or items permanently affixed to walls. Large safes/pianos/specialty pieces may need approval—list them in your notes.

  • How should I prepare?

Pack/label boxes, empty dressers of loose items, unplug electronics, reserve elevators/parking, and set aside essentials you’ll carry yourself. Clear hallways and note any fragile/heavy items in your booking.

TV Mounting

  • Do you provide the mount?

We install customer-provided mounts (fixed, tilt, or full-motion). Not sure what to buy? Share your TV model and preferred motion—we’ll confirm the VESA pattern and stud spacing guidance.

  • What TV sizes do you support?

32" & under, 33–60", and 61"+. Very large/weighted sets may require two technicians.

  • Which wall types can you mount to?

Wood studs, plaster, drywall, brick, and concrete are supported. Over-fireplace installs may require heat-clearance checks and special anchors—add details in your notes.

  • Do you hide the wires?

Wire concealment is available as an add-on (surface cord tidy or in-wall, where permitted and code-compliant). Let us know which you prefer.

  • I rent—can you still mount my TV?

Usually yes, but please confirm with your landlord/HOA first. If drilling isn’t allowed, we can discuss no-drill alternatives (stands/furniture mounting).

Junk Removal

  • How do you price junk removal?

By item/volume, weight, access, and disposal type. Attach photos in the work-request form for an accurate quote. Common extras:

    • Flights of stairs: $50/flight
    • Paint (handling/disposal): $15/gal (sealed/accepted)
    • Mattresses: $30 each
    • Tires: $20 each
    • Packing helpers: available upon request (additional cost)
  • What can you take?

Furniture, mattresses, appliances (unhooked), bagged debris, yard waste, and most non-hazardous items. List heavy/oversized pieces in your notes.

  • What can’t you take?

Hazardous materials (fuels, chemicals, wet paint in open cans), medical waste, live animals, or items permanently affixed to structures. Ask if you’re unsure—we’ll advise or refer.

  • Do I need to be there?

Preferred, so we can confirm what goes and what stays. If you can’t be present, clearly tag items and provide access notes.

Handyman

  • What kinds of tasks do you handle?

General repairs, furniture assembly, mounting & hanging, doors/trim, lighting & fixtures, drywall & painting, light demo, and more. Include photos and dimensions for the best estimate.

  • Do you bring materials?

Pros bring standard tools and fasteners. If special parts are needed (custom anchors, fixtures, lumber), we can purchase on your behalf or you can supply them.

Landscaping

  • What outdoor services do you offer?

Mowing, edging, leaf clean-up, mulch refresh, small hedge/shrub trims, light haul-away, and seasonal yard tidies. For larger installs, include photos and measurements for a custom quote.

  • Do you remove yard waste?

Yes—bagged and bundled yard waste can be hauled away. Larger loads are priced by volume and disposal fees.
